Inspiration
Dog Star was written for a 2007 poetry competition in Writing Magazine. I can't remember the exact subject, but I suspect it was something to do with space travel. It didn't get placed. I think I might have been trying to channel John Hegley with this one. I can sort of imagine him reading it, anyway.

Dog Star was published in the March 2009 edition of Aphelion.
