Today I am the subject of some searching questions posed by none other than Claire King, fiction editor at The View From Here and writer extraordinaire, who I met when we were both shortlisted for last year’s Bristol Short Story Prize. Her debut novel, The Night Rainbow, will be published by Bloomsbury in March 2013 and if I were ever to ask her one question, it would be how on earth does she keep sane knowing that she’s still got over a year to wait before it gets published?! No matter, I’m really looking forward to reading it when it comes out.
Here’s the interview, in which we discuss such matters as whether aliens exist and what it’s like being sandwiched between Rosamunde Pilcher and Bella Pollen.
