Bertrand is a West African ball python belonging to Patrice Ambrose. He is just under six foot long and enjoys a diet of small rodents. Like all of Patrice's reptiles, he is named after a mathematician, in this case Bertrand Russell. Owing to his troubled relationship with Maryam the chameleon, he is occasionally given to friends to look after. This does not always end well.
