Galton Felmersham was the first biographer of Archimedes and Pythagoras Vavasor. He was working on their biography at the time of their deaths and he himself died in a house fire not long afterwards, thus setting an unfortunate precedent that his replacement George Burgess would ultimately follow. All of Felmersham's papers were destroyed in the fire, along with the tape recordings of a series of long and candid interviews with the twins.
