Daphne Holmfirth

In the twilight years of a long and fulfilling life, Daphne Holmfirth devotes her time to expanding her impressive collection of small china dogs, cooking vegetables for three times as long as absolutely necessary, and keeping her house spick and span in case anyone drops in unexpectedly. She is also one of the few people in Swindon to have a 9th degree black belt in Taekwon-Do, but she doesn't mention that unless the occasion demands it.

The last person to drop in unexpectedly was Tom Winscombe, who she found hiding behind the hedge in her front garden following the incident with the Gretzky gang and Maxim Kravchenko.
