Inspiration
Feral was originally written for Round One of the 2009 STIRRED POeTS competition held on The Write Idea forum. I have no recollection of what the prompt was, or what it scored. I do know that the original title was "Call of the Wild".
Placings
Feral was shortlisted in the 2009 Earlyworks Press web poetry competition.
Publications
As a shortlisted poem, Feral was published in the anthology back eyes poetry.
Notes
I do like the idea of a management training exercise that gets out of hand and goes full "Lord of the Flies". I'm quite surprised that this doesn't happen more often.
